The Uncanny Experience is a two day immersive fandom event created by fans for fans who desire to be mutant and proud. Our mission is to transport you into the universe of mutantkind, build community, and give a platform to the creators, artists, and actors of the X-Men universe to interact with and educate attendees.
The Uncanny Experience, an event produced by Giant-Size Productions, is a fan convention with immersive elements held at the Minneapolis Club in Minnesota. We provide participants with quality entertainment and an immersive experience like none other, in the form of panels, vendor booths, cosplay, fan activities, live entertainment, and celebrity & creator signings.

The 2023 Virtual International Conference is being brought to you by volunteers from throughout the fleet. This is a diverse group, all working in collaborative teams. Each individual brings a unique skill set as we are working towards creating a multi-day event with many components.

Minicon is a volunteer run, general science fiction convention held every year on Easter weekend in or near Minneapolis, Minnesota. Minicon is run by the Minnesota Science Fiction Society, or MNStF. Attendees of Minicon can expect to find a full slate of programming (panel discussions, readings, signings, etc.), costuming, films, gaming (open and organized), a teen lounge, an art show, dealers, a kids’ room, a science room, filk and folk music, a consuite and bar, room parties, and various special events.

MarsCon is a fan-run science fiction convention for all ages held every March in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. At MarsCon you’ll find panel discussions, parties, guest of honor presentations, science and science fiction, our art show, film/anime room, gaming, dealers room, charity auction, and masquerade. But wait, there’s more! Our Con-In-a-Con Comedy Music track attracts performers—and listeners—from across the country.
The twenty-fifth edition of MarsCon (I know; we can scarcely believe it) will take place March 10 – 12, 2023 at the Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Mall of America. You are invited!
